About Ginstberg

The property with the Ginstberg spring is situated in Scheldewindeke - Oosterzele, a small village near Ghent in province East Flanders of Belgium.

The name Ginstberg comes from merging the two words "Ginst" and "berg". "Berg" means mountain and "Ginst" refers to a yellow bush (“ginstbrem” read more), popular on this hill. Each year, during springtime these bushes color yellow again. The curves in our medallion still refer to this bush. The Ginstberg mountain is one of the first hills of the Flemish Ardennes. On the property 8 other springs are located, the water of these springs is partly used as process water. The property is since many decades in family hands. The name of the company is NV Evidel with number: 0475.997.608.
